Open a New Ticket
Click the red + New Locate Ticket button (top right) to open the submission form.

Work Type, State & Project
Select your work type (HDD, Trench, Plow, Vac Exc), choose your state, and enter your project name.

Draw the Bore Corridor
Scroll to the map. Click to drop waypoints along your planned path. Double-click the final point to finish. Route length and Segment/Address fill automatically.

Enter Bore Depth
Depth (ft) is required. Enter the minimum depth for your bore.

Generate the Narrative
Click ✨ AI Generate — a state-compliant 811 locate narrative is written automatically from your map path and work type.

Identify Utilities
GPS coordinates auto-fill the lookup field. Click 🔍 Look Up to see every utility that must be notified for your location. Review and confirm the list.

Submit to 811
Click Submit to 811. The ticket enters the tracking dashboard and utility response monitoring begins.
ⓘ Pilot note: This is a working sample environment. Submissions during the pilot will not transmit notifications to utility companies or the 811 center. Upon full adoption, this step is fully automated — tickets route directly to the state one-call center and utility notifications are handled by the agent.

After Submission
Your ticket appears in the dashboard with live dig-clear status, expiry countdown, and utility response tracking. Repeat for each segment. Questions? Reply to your pilot registration email.
